INSPIRATION

I am always inspired by what I see around me: things I observe on a daily basis or when traveling as I seek out specific forms in architecture, crumbling walls, cloud formations, and colors in landscape and nature. I take multiple photographs of objects and subjects that pique my interest. Then in the studio, reflecting on these things, I abstract images from the literal and concrete as points of reference for my paintings –– re-interpreting everything into my own creative vocabulary.
